René Tromborg is a self-taught artist working and living in Copenhagen, Denmark.

His paintings are inspired by the graphic element of graffiti and the colorful, simple expression of pop art. Design and geometry are in focus and parallel the Bauhaus movement and architecture. 

He strives to challenge the perception of the viewer with multiple perspectives and odd compositions. Although his work has a tight graphic expression, René paints freehanded os that the end result is vivid and analog. 

His interest in graffiti art began in the 80’s and grew into a passion while living in Brooklyn, New York working as a music producer / songwriter. 

René happily resides in Copenhagen once again with his wife, their two sons and their lovable dog Bruno.
